Tayachi Bachir is a young visual artist, photographer and film director, born in 1995 in Tunis, where he works and lives.
He studied architecture in Tunis. Through video, photography, installation and drawing,
he attempts to capture the ordinary and transform it into the extraordinary, preserving the raw aspect of the emotions felt then and now.


His work has been shown in different exhibitions such as
Summer fling (Aicha Gorgi Gallery, Tunis, 2021),
The Wait  (Investec Cape Town Art Fair, 2022),
Injurier le Soleil (32bis, Tunis, 2022),
La Fabrique (Jaou, Tunis, 2022)
and Borderless (Cairo Photo Week, 2023).
It has also been featured in Nowness and Vogue Arabia (2021).
In 2022, he directed Black Little Sheep, a short film shown during Khatawat Ciné Par’Court in Tunis.
